Moshe Groman, LSW

I earned my Master’s in Social Work with honors from the Sara Schenirer/Wurzweiler School of Social Work in 2023. I’m trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and am passionate about its power to repair and renew strained relationships. I also draw from my background in psychodynamic and humanistic psychotherapy and incorporate evidence-based behavioral tools where helpful.

I view therapy as a healing process that evolves through gradual self-discovery. I help my clients feel all their feelings, say anything and everything, and bring their whole selves into the therapy room — with pride and acceptance, and without shame or judgment.

While there’s certainly a science to psychotherapy, it’s also a complicated, sometimes fluky process. It’s often hard to know what’s right, what really works, or how long it’ll take. But one thing I’ve found to be true across all modalities and approaches: when you feel valued, desired, cherished — just plain good — your life starts to shift. I believe everyone can have these feelings. For me, helping people get there is the most meaningful thing therapy can accomplish.

I also guide and support couples who experience pain with intimacy. This is a poorly understood and often mistreated issue, and it leaves couples feeling so helpless, hopeless, and lost. If you are experiencing this, please know that there are solutions! I will help you understand the possibilities, coach you through the process, and support you as you heal. If you are a couple struggling with painful intimacy or are a man who is seeking support and understanding while your wife heals, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
